The Road to Giving Back

Helping Paws

Helping Paws is a non-profit organization that helps to train and place service dogs into the homes of Veterans, first responders, and people with disabilities. They work regularly with the community to help educate the public about service dogs and the skills they are able to assist with. It is incredible the amount of time, dedication, and resources invested into each dog.

With my background as a dog handler in the Marines, this organization holds a very special place in my heart. One of our customers, Teri Sinn, a foster home dog trainer, helped introduce us to the Helping Paws family.  In 2022 we had the opportunity to partner with Helping Paws and host a Veterans Day event to help honor our Veterans and raise funds for Minnesota’s annual Give to the Max fundraiser. With the generous help of our customers and the community we were able to help contribute to a $75,000 donation. We are looking forward to future collaborations with the Helping Paws team. Stay tuned for future events!
